Online Personal Training
How it started-
I started offering this service when lockdown happened, gyms were closed, and my clients were working from home looking to continue being led through their training. There was a need to maintain exercising when restrictions meant activity levels were drastically reduced, and this had to be done often using minimal equipment in smaller spaces.
I found I was able to effectively guide my clients to improved levels of fitness despite these challenges, and they found this a really convenient, more time efficient, and more cost effective way of training. Lockdown forced this change, but having seen how well online delivery of PT service works, it’s a no-brainer to continue offering it.
What it is-
If you are new to this service, I schedule an initial consultation with you online to find out your goals, previous experience, what equipment and surroundings you have. I also run you through a movement screen to inform me of restrictions to consider, and see what exercises are needed to improve you in alignment with the fitness goals you have. This is free and takes around 30mins.
I then meet you online in surrounding of your choice and guide you through a 1hr workout that is customised to your wants and needs. I demo the exercises you are about to do, then can see you perform that exercise and give you live feedback to verbally cue your movement and correct your technique, so you execute it to your best ability. Any queries you have are dealt with immediately so you fully understand what you need to do to get the most out of your training time.
What is needed-
- A laptop or tablet with a good internet connection.
- Adequate space to move (including overhead if using kettlebells).
- A yoga matt to warm up and perform some exercises on.
- Equipment is not essential to improve physical fitness, but is useful.

View clips of each exercise, follow the prescribed weights & reps, and get feedback on any issues you had executing your workout.
